Alex Uschatz (1993) completed his Master’s degree at the Faculty of Law at the University of Zurich in 2017. He then worked as a trainee at a large corporate law firm in Zurich and as an auditor at a Zurich district court. He was admitted to the Zurich bar in 2020. He has just submitted his dissertation on the taxation of asset tokens with a contractual basis. During his dissertation, he supported the Chair of Tax Law at the University of Lucerne under Prof. Dr. iur. Andrea Opel.
Alex Uschatz specialises in national and international tax law. One focus of his interests lies in the diverse tax issues that arise in the area of blockchain-/DLT-technology, cryptocurrencies, etc.
