As of 1 June 2020, the following new employees will be joining our team:

• Olivia Schwarz (1982) is a VAT expert with an MAS degree in VAT (Kalaidos) and a Masters in International Relations (University of Geneva). Olivia Schwarz started her career in the VAT department of a big four consultancy firm in Geneva and Zurich. She then worked for many years for the energy company Axpo in their VAT and customs department.
• Marco Buchmann (1989) is a certified tax expert and business economist having graduated with an M.A. HSG in Accounting and Finance. Before joining ADB, he worked as a tax consultant in the International Corporate Tax Department at one of the big four consultancy firms, where his most recent position was as manager. He specialises in corporate tax law and in international tax law.

Olivia Schwarz is an experienced expert who is available alongside Britta Rehfisch to answer any questions you may have regarding VAT and customs. Olivia Schwarz advises in particular on matters concerning cross-border trade of goods and provision of services.

With Marco Buchmann we rejuvenate our team in the field of classic corporate tax law. His experience in international projects and with M&A transactions will be a valuable asset to us. In the course of the continuous change of generations at ADB, Dr Marco Greter decided to resign from the partnership. After many years of working for our company, over 20 of which were as a partner, he is taking a step back and working reduced hours. Marco Greter will continue to be available to you and to us as counsel with his great wealth of experience.

The same goes for Dr Marco Duss. For some years now, Marco Duss has been continually reducing his hours. After almost 50 years at ADB, he is now taking another step back, and deservedly so.

We really appreciate the fact that we can count on the cooperation of our new counsels, Marco Duss und Marco Greter, in the future, too. Thanks to their help, we should be able to achieve the smoothest possible transition in supporting our clients.
