Patrick Engstler (1995) after graduating with a BSc in Business Administration in 2018 he worked as a tax consultant at one of the Big Four accounting firms. In 2021, he completed his Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of St. Gallen. He then worked as a doctoral student and research assistant at the Institute for Law and Economics (Tax Law Department) at the University of St. Gallen until 2024.
Patrick Engstler works in the area of national and international tax law. He has a particular focus of interest in all tax issues surrounding the determination of the corporate tax base (e.g., depreciations, impairments, and provisions).
