Swiss VAT rate increase as per 1 January 2024 – What to consider now?
The VAT rates are increasing from 1 January 2024. The key factor for applying the new VAT rates is the time or period in which the supplies are provided. As such, this is a matter that requires close attention already today, especially in respect of supplies relating to several periods and long-term contracts or supplies in 2024 being subject to advance invoices in 2023.
